Many young coaches tend to just show up at practice without a second thought what to accomplish that day or what drills they will be running. They want to play it by ear and see how it goes. The players deserve better and you can give it to them.
Planning
Each practice should be planned down to the minute. Drills should be done in a timely manner and always at full speed. Let’s go over some of the items that are held in practices and how they should be structured
Stretching
Start with stretching exercises for 10-15 minutes. The older the players, the more time I’d dedicate. Make sure that legs, arms and back are good and stretched before jumping into things. Take the time during stretching to let the players know what is to be expected that day. I’ve had coaches have white boards showing what drills would be done and for how long and even when practice would be over. I loved it when it was that detailed. Time is precious. It’s accepted to think that it’s very important to always tell the truth in life in general and specifically in relationships.
But let’s see why truth is so important to people…
They simply don’t understand what the real reason for lying is.
We seem to think that our partners lie to us, because:
They don’t love us,
They don’t care about us,
They want to hurt us,
We are not important to them,
They betray us…
But this is even not close to what’s really going on.
Actually we are lying not to hurt somebody else, but to protect ourselves. We are lying because of our weaknesses.
Sometimes if we tell the truth, people don’t accept it. They criticize us, and express anger towards us. And if it’s a similar attitude to our own, it becomes a difficult experience. Read more...

The scooter was received and assembled, now finally to the long awaited moment, starting the scooter. The urge to stick the key in the hole, press the button and hear the engine purr is close to irresistible…

Continue to improve yourself. As you develop your inner self, you change in positive ways. Changes keep people interested in you because you have something new going on in your life. Personal development leads you to feel excited about life. Other people pick up on that energy and start to resonate it as well.
Love yourself first. Confidence is very attractive to members of both sexes. It is important to portray yourself in the best way that you can. Nobody thinks of them self as perfect. We all have imperfections that we would like to minimize. Choose flattering clothes for your body type. Add tasteful make up if you are inclined. Anything that makes you feel good goes a long way to boosting your self confidence. When you emanate an aura of confidence it turns heads, your partners’ as well.
Incorporate surprises into your weekly routine. The daily grind can get anyone feeling like they are in a rut. Try to think of something new, exciting and fun to do weekly. It could be going out for dinner, just the two of you. Be thoughtful, was there a restaurant that you used to go to when you were dating that you both loved? Make a reservation there. It does not have to be a big and expensive surprise, a simple chocolate on the pillow adds excitement.

Last night, Phil Jackson tried to pass his all-time coaching wins list, but it did not happen in the game against the Celtics. Phil Jackson stayed tied with Auerbach, seventh in the NBA history with 938 career wins.
The Celtics finished their Western road trip with a win over the Lakers 110-91. Boston enhanced to a best NBA-record 26-3. They have won eight straight games on the road. Boston is currently 12-2 away from TD Banknorth Garden and is 8-0 against the Western Conference.
Boston’s scorers were Paul Pierce with 33 points, Kevin Garnett with 22 points and 12 board, and Ray Allen with 19 points. For the Lakers; Kobe Bryant scored 22 points but he was 0 for 6 on 3-pointers and was only 6 of 25 from the floor. Read more...
