Customer Reviews
Below freezing. Will NOT start your car, even B&D confirms – RandyB – Chicago, IL
This Winter, 20 degrees. Battery Dead. This would NOT start my 4 cylinder car.*
Talked with Black & Decker and they said, “yeah, when it’s that cold, this won’t want to start it”
“In degrees lowering than freezing, 34 degrees is the lowest.”
Actually said the even “higher amperage jump starters you wouldn’t want to use when it’s below freezing.”
*Full Disclosure: It BARELY started it when I took it outside from being inside at 75degrees. So I left it in the trunk overnight (after fully charging) and it wasn’t even close to turning it over.
