So when it comes to our cars, we cannot afford any avoidable hassles. Because of this, I wanted to provide some helpful tips I’ve learned recently from experience that I wanted to share. I don’t claim to be an expert on cars or maintenance but I am definitely a car enthusiast. But right now gas in my area in Pennsylvania is around $3.39 per gallon and my commute to work is about 54 miles round trip in an SUV with about 15 mpg. You do the math: the monthly cost is like paying a second rent! So I take public transportation at only 23 dollars per week (I can write a whole other article about the benefits of public transportation but that’s another story!) and it also minimizes the wear and tear on my SUV that I am planning to trade in or sell.

Portable air compressors are very useful devices that you can keep on your car’s trunk, and it may save you from a flat tire, for example.

There are a variety of capacities, sizes and shapes for portable air compressors, the most common work with 12 Volts, are small and not heavy, and can be connected to your car’s cigarette lighter or power outlet.

An air compressor, as its name says, provides compressed air that is used to inflate your car tires, inflatable devices, balls, compressed air storage tanks and other applications. It’s a very useful thing you must have in your car, home and office.

It is important to keep some interesting conversation starters handy every time. Why? Well, let’s say you’re at this party where you hardly know anybody. The feeling is awkward. The only other person you know is chatting up another person on the other side of the room.

Suddenly, a person makes their way next to you. This is your chance to start up a conversation. But what should you talk about? You don’t really know this person after all… By the time you think of something, the person has already left.

Does this situation sound familiar? Well, perhaps it’s time you read up on interesting conversation starters!

Social situations like the one mentioned above are very common. People aren’t always ready with a topic. Should you talk politics? Should you talk about your favorite show? Or what about the newest book you bought last week?

The cable booster is a small connector used to make temporary electrical connections that is made of a short piece of wire. A booster can be used to boost dead batteries from your car or from other different electronic devices. Here are some alternatives to the cable booster.

Cigarette lighter outlet

An alternative to a cable booster is another cable that can be used for interconnecting the 12 Volt cigarette lighter outlets of two vehicles. The available current available that passes through this kind of connection is very small, even though this can eliminate previously made concerns with bad connections and arcs near the terminals of the battery,

The Atlanta Falcons will head into the 2010 season with one thing in mind, win the NFC South. The Falcons battled through a lot of injuries to key players in 2009, but still managed to finish the season 9-7. I think there are a lot of people sleeping on the Falcons in 2010. They have a much easier schedule to manage this season, and have made some nice moves this offseason and should head into the season relatively healthy. Here is a quick look at the 2010 Atlanta Falcons, plus my prediction on where they finish in the NFC South.

Offense:

The Falcons have one of the premier quarterbacks in the league in Matt Ryan, who is entering just his third season in the NFL. Ryan played like a veteran in 2009, throwing for 2,916 yards with 22 touchdowns to just 14 interceptions. Watch out for a monster season from Ryan in 2010.

Conversation starters are not much good unless you understand the techniques for becoming a good conversationalist. But, with the right frame of mind and a commitment to practice, learning how to make good conversation can be both fun and easy.

Research shows that developing good communication skills is far more important than getting good grades in school. According to a study at the Stanford University School of Business, the most successful graduates were not the ones with the highest grade point averages. They were the ones most comfortable having friendly conversations with others, particularly strangers.

When you start a conversation with someone you don’t know, it helps to realize that they’re probably feeling just as awkward and tongue-tied as you are. And, if they’re not, then they’ll more than likely have the good manners to be gracious. So, have some fun, jump right in and be the first to speak. You have much to gain and little to lose.

Whether you decide to buy one of the prepared tracks, or even create your own tracks using the Hot wheels track starter set, finding new and different tasks for your cars to overcome is so much fun. Though, many hot wheels enthusiasts will usually find just as much enjoyment watching their cars spin and crash.

The Hot wheels dragon fire track set is an exhilarating set as you need to time your jump perfect to behead the flaming fiend. Pick your car and launch, watch it go through three circular loops with sections missing, gaining speed along the way by the four speed boosters. Watch out for the fire-breathing dragon at the end though, if you miss the jump, consider yourself fried! But if you time it perfect, you can slay the mighty dragon, and save the kingdom.

Owing a used car requires a significant investment, both in time and in general maintenance costs. With the headache involved in keeping your used car running, it’s essential not to overlook the importance of getting your oil changed regularly. While this may seem like a relatively minor maintenance procedure, it is actually a big part of preventing serious damage to a used car.

Changing the oil in your used car on a regular basis is very important for maintaining your used car’s engine. Oil helps the engine to run by keeping all of the moving parts properly lubricated. After running for several thousand miles, the oil tends to become contaminated by carbon, debris and other substances that can hinder the effectiveness of the oil. If the oil isn’t able to properly provide lubrication for the engine, serious damage to the engine can occur.
