This item was purchased to be used at car auctions to jump start vehicles that won’t start. It only jumps 2 or 3 vehicles then the battery goes dead. The specifications said that it would jump start more than 3 vehicles.

If you want success, be prepared to work for it.  It’s as simple as that.  You’re going to have to learn what makes the market tick.   You’d be astounded how many traders just jump into the market without even knowing the difference between a limit order and a stop order.  It’s sad but true.

Another problem that many new traders face is they never get a grasp of their emotions.  To them, every single pip move is a matter of life and death.  People like this will never succeed in trading. If there brokerage accounts don’t crash, their blood pressure will.   Trading should be treated with “business as usual” kind of mentality.  Frankly, if someone were to watch you, they shouldn’t have any idea if you are making or losing money in your trades.

If you are trading from the home, then you are going to have to understand technical analysis. The most important part of technical analysis is understanding price action.  Price action trading involves getting rid of your indicators and being able to analyze the price patterns of a given currency pair.

First observe for any cracks in the battery body covering or its exterior surface. If you notice any discontinuities on the surface of the battery, never try to jump-start it. Then it is preferable to purchase a new battery. If you notice white or green or blue residue in the vicinity of the battery leads, scrub it off with the help of a wire brush. The formation of this residue is the warning that time is nearing to replace it with a fresh battery.

Verify that the batteries in both the cars are having comparable voltage. Place the cars adjacent to each other such that the cars are not touching one another and ensure both ignitions are in switched off condition in the beginning.

This is the universal convention that each battery has two leads. One is marked positive (+ ve) and the other one is negative (- ve). The positive terminal of the battery usually has a wrap covered over it and a bunch of wires attached to it. Generally the exposed plain black wire is connected to negative terminal of the battery. In order to do a safe jump-start you must follow the sequence of operations. You have to start work first with the dead battery.

Connect one end of a cable to the positive lead of the dead battery. Now connect the other end of the same wire to the positive lead of the starting car. Take another cable and connect one end of it to the negative lead of the starting car. The second of this cable is connected to engine block of your car having dead battery at essentially unpainted metal surface. Please keep in mind that negative cable should not be connected to the dead battery itself.

Now ensure all connections are proper. After ensuring the firm connections now start the car that is used for jump start and keep it in idling for 5 minutes. Now start the car having dead battery. The car must start, if it is not then wait for few more minutes and try for next attempt. If your car does not start then it is not going to start. You need to have help of a tow truck.

The entire procedure needs proper care. The following points help you in preventing damage to your hands and car. Always use gloves while cleaning the residue matter that is formed at the battery leads. These corrosion products can be nasty if it touches your skin. After ensuring the proper connections keep you away from the hood areas of the cars. Safety goggles will help you in case of unexpected circumstances. While disconnecting the cables you must follow the same direction in the reverse way. That means you have to disconnect from the block first and positive lead of the starting car last. The most important thing is smoking is strictly prohibited while executing the entire operation.

The Colorado Rookies suffered through a tough 95 loss season ending the year 15 games behind the NL West Champion San Diego Padres. The 2005 offense was led by 1st baseman Todd Helton (.320 20 79), outfielder Dustan Mohr (.214 17 38), and the young 3rd baseman Garrett Atkins (.287 13 89). Shortstop Clint Barmes (.289 10 46) and Matt Holliday (.307 19 87) also contributed to the lineup.

The 2005 Rockies pitching was as thin as the air in their home stadium, Coors Field. Beyond youngster Jeff Francis (14-12 5.68) and Aaron Cook (7-2 3.67) the rest of the starting pitching suffered to provide quality starts throughout the entire year. Starters Jamey Wright (8-16 5.46), Byung-Hyun Kim (5-12 4.86) and Jason Jennings (6-9 5.02) all failed to impress. On the upside, closer Brian Fuentes (2-5 2.91 31 saves) did manage to convert 31 saves in 34 save opportunities, and was an impressive 14 out of 14 in save opportunities at Coors Field. Not an easy task when a pitcher is required to close games in a stadium that is notorious for late inning comebacks and blown saves.

Off Season Moves:

The Colorado Rockies didn’t make many moves in the off season. They did however add some veteran experience to the bullpen by signing free agent closer Jose Mesa (2-8 4.76). The Rockies also re-signed starter Byung-Hyun Kim and reliever Mike DeJean (5-4 4.48) plus traded for St. Louis left hander Ray King (4-4 388). Catcher Yorvit Torrealba (.234 3 15) was also picked up in order to upgrade the position.

2006 Analysis:

Growing pains are to be expected with a team this young. Rockie fans need to be patient and allow youngsters such as third baseman Atkins, and shortstop Barmes the time they need to grow into their positions. Look for right fielder Brad Hawpe (.262 9 47) and outfielders Matt Holliday and Dustin Mohr to be expected to contribute more in 2006. Both players proved they were capable of handling major league pitching during the 2005 season and both are expected to be an important part of the Rockies future.

Colorado is reluctant to abandon their game plan and with so many young prospects no one can blame them. Management remained overly cautious in the off season and passed by the opportunity to add a bunch of new faces.

One newcomer to the pitching staff will be pitcher Ray King. He will help, but the starting rotation shouldn’t be expected to provide much better numbers then they did in 2005. Francis and Cook should start more in 2006 and the Rockies closer Brian Fuentes ended the season very strong. In August and September Fuentes was an impressive 15 for 15 in save opportunities. The Rockies are looking for a few breaks to go there way and if the starting pitching can impress the offense should be able to score runs. The Rockies are still a few years and starting pitchers away to be considered a legitimate contender for a division title or wildcard spot.

Tin Mints

It’s the 1930s all over again.  A disc shape tin filled with mints might appear archaic but is kitschy and trendy.  Like the candy, goofy statements and pictures can easily be fitted onto the tops.  The tins will last longer than both the chocolate wrappers and the stickers, but still offer the same level of enjoyment.  The tins are an affordable favor for the wedding on a budget.

Gift Bags

A silly wedding favor to give away at the end of the night is a gift bag.  Pack each bag full of goofy gifts from the dollar store.  You’ll keep your guests in an elevated mood when the reception ends.  There’s no constraint on the fun you can put into these bags, and it won’t require you to sell the farm.   

This is simply a starter guide to help you brainstorm some ideas for your wedding.  Do whatever makes you happy, and share that joy with your guests. 

Q: Can I win the lottery using manifesting techniques

A: Yes and no. ‘Winning the lottery’ is the grown up equivalent of ‘wishing for five more wishes’. It’s actually quite an unspecific goal… which lottery exactly, what size of prize, and what the hell do you need that much cash for anyway?

Most people can’t answer those questions as they’re not seriously interested in actually doing it for real, they’re just indulging in a fleeting fantasy.

Now whilst it obviously is hugely entertaining to manifest large cash windfalls, and it is doable, most people who want to improve their finances this way have glaring holes in the current financial game. Ironically, improving that first makes it easier to attract the windfalls later.

Q: Can you manifest stuff for me?

A:Yes, but I won’t.  Let me tell you the reasons why and why it’s not such a hot idea anyway.

People attract and keep things they’re in mental alignment with. It’s natural for you to have stuff that’s in harmony with you. It’s unsustainable for people to keep or attract things they aren’t compatible with.

If you manifest something for somebody that’s currently a significant jump outside their current level, the odds of them keeping it for very long suck.

Look at any of the studies on lottery winners – most of them blow it within a few years and many end up in a worse state than they were in to start. You’d think with all those resources and advice they’d do something sensible with it but they’re still running the same poor mental software they had before the win.

Or another example – mismatched partners. One Japanese study rated photographs of couples for general attractiveness and found that the people who were within one point (out of ten) either way stayed together the longest.

Q: Should I tell people what I’m manifesting?

A: Generally no, with a few exceptions. Here’s why:

There’s a great quote from sales guru Zig Ziglar, that there’s two kinds of goal – there’s ‘go up’ goals and ‘give up’ goals.

‘Give up’ goals would be things like stopping smoking, biting our nails, eating donuts every day. In those circumstances you can use the peer pressure from others to help you accomplish something.

‘Go Up’ goals are usually substantial personal accomplishments, the kind of thing we’re generally doing with manifesting and here you’re best to keep silent until after you’ve done it.

Why?

The more people you tell about what you’re going to do, the more you dilute the energy linked to the goal. It drains the life right out of it.
