I’ve had my mini-jump for over 10 years and have been pleased with its ruggedness and power. It never let us down. As with all the rechargeables you MUST make sure it never goes completely dead. It will be useless after that cause the charge circuit will not charge a dead battery. That was never a problem for us, because we used it often as we camp and have a lot of equipment that requires jump started from time to time. Unfortunately the negative battery post broke off without my realizing it. I thought it just needed a charge, but when I plugged it in the charging controller got so hot the 3 resistors on the circuit board came unsoldered. They actually fell out of the board. If anyone out there has one of these that doesn’t work anymore and you want to sell it . . . I’d like to fix mine. If I can’t, I’ll just keep it around to remind me of all the good times we had camping with the kids, etc. Read more...

I absolutely love this product!!! I purchased this to replace a much larger and heavier one that was a pain to lug out when needed, not to mention that it took up almost half of my trunk. This mini-jumper has been everything it claims to be and more. It is lightweight, takes up very little space and is extremely easy to use. You just connect the cables and turn the key in the car engine, and voila! I’ve already used this product three times in the span of about a month to jump strangers who have been stranded and I haven’t had to charge it yet. I can’t recommend this item enough! An added bonus is the built-in DC outlet that allows you to charge items at home that do not have a regular electrical plug like a GPS unit or an MP3 player.
